🪵 We're a small crew of woodworkers, furniture flippers, and app builders who kept losing track of sanding grits, stain names, and drying windows on scraps of masking tape. TintyMinty started as our own shop notebook and grew into a full digital companion for anyone who works with raw wood and a can of finish.

TintyMinty: Wood Stain was built on a simple principle: your restoration projects are yours alone. This policy explains, in plain language, how the app handles information — and the short version is that it doesn't collect any of it. Every photo, calculator result, drying timer, and project log stays on your own device.
We collect nothing. TintyMinty does not require an account, does not ask for your name or email to function, and does not gather personal identifiers, location data, or usage analytics of any kind. Wood species photos, stain overlay previews, sanding progress captures, and project notes are created and stored only on your device.
Because no personal information is collected, none is used, profiled, analyzed, or shared. We do not build user profiles, run behavioral tracking, or sell insights derived from your projects — there is simply nothing of that nature to process.
All app data — grain photos, stain overlays, sanding scans, calculator inputs, drying schedules, and gallery entries — is stored locally in the app's private storage on your phone or tablet. Nothing is uploaded to a server, synced to a cloud account, or backed up to any TintyMinty-operated infrastructure, because no such infrastructure exists for your project data.
TintyMinty does not integrate third-party analytics kits, advertising networks, or tracking SDKs. The app is not designed to communicate your activity to outside services, and no data broker or partner ever receives information from your use of the app.
Since your project data never leaves your device, it is protected by the same security measures — passcode, biometric lock, encryption — that already guard your phone or tablet. There is no remote database to breach, because none is used to store your information.
TintyMinty does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. As no personal information is gathered from any user regardless of age, the app is inherently aligned with COPPA and similar children's privacy protections.
There are no accounts to manage and no remote records to request the deletion of. If you wish to remove your project history, stain logs, or saved photos, simply delete the corresponding entries in the app or uninstall TintyMinty — this permanently erases all locally stored data.
If our practices ever change, we will update this policy and revise the effective date above. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. We will never introduce silent data collection without disclosing it here first.
